Sesame seeds for constipation
Using sesame and sunflower seeds for constipation makes a lot of sense. If you like eating fruit, this is a way to add more fiber, vitamins and minerals to your diet and at the same time reduce constipation. Maoshing Ni, Ph.D., CA and Cathy McNease, B.S., M.H. in their book, The TAO of Nutrition, 1987, recommended the use of black sesame seeds for chronic constipation. This is what he says,
“Roast black sesame seeds into the food with a small amount of coffee. Mix the dark honey into small balls.
Eat one three times a day mixed with rice wine."
Black sesame seeds also nourish the liver, intestines, kidneys and blood. You can also make sesame seed soup with brown rice.
Pour 10 parts sesame seeds and 1 part brown rice into the hot water
When they are soft, about an hour, pour the water, grind them with a small food processor to create liquid. Sieve the remaining liquid to remove the excess.
Rinse the liquid with warm water and add a little honey. Cook on low heat until the liquid becomes syrupy.
Drink about two cups to relieve constipation in about an hour. And also, peas and brown sesame seeds - help lubricate the intestinal wall. This makes it easier to pass feces through your intestines. Sunflower seeds for constipation
Sunflower seeds are growing all the time. Use them raw, shelled and unsalted every day. They contain omega-6 fatty acids, like olive oil. You can use them ground and add them to your morning smoothie, 1-2 teaspoons, or to your homemade salad dressing. Add them to your salad
Add them to your morning cereal
This is the sunflower juice you can make.
Take 1-2 tablespoons of sunflower seeds. Dry them with coffee grounds. Add them to a cup of boiling water. Sweeten this mixture with honey, maple syrup or blackstrap molasses. Drink this mixture morning and night to help fight constipation. When you use ground sunflower seeds to add to your salad dressing, you can also use sesame seeds. Experiment with these two fruits and find out how you prepare and eat them.
